Host Javascipts For Your Blog On DropBox

Just like many bloggers i have been using Blogger Platform since 2009 and i am very much happy with it. Firstly, its free and secondly if you have deep knowledge of HTML/CSS and you can deal with Java, then you can turn you blog into a masterpiece.

As i have stated above that if you want to make most out of your blog (in terms of design and added features) you have to take advantage of javascripts. But the only problem i found while integrating Javascripts with my blog design, was that i could not find a reliable place to host my javascript files. Some say Google Sites is a good option, but it didn't work out for me. I faced some problems while using it and i would not recommend you to use that.

Then What Should i do? --> Go For DropBox

Drop is an awesome place to host you javascript files, CSS files and images for fast load. I personally recommend you to go for Dropbox and just forget about all other services. Just follow the steps given below and make your blog load faster and make it look more attractive.

  • Go to DropBox and create an account.
  • Once you create an account, it will prompt you to download their software, just download it.
  • Run the downloaded file and install the software.
  • Once you have installed the software, you will see a dropbox folder in My Documents.
  • Select all those files which you want to host, and place them in the Public Folder in the Dropbox Folder.
  • Now Right click on the files and select Dropbox>>Public URL.
Now you can use these public URL in your blog template. Dropbox is very fast is used as CDN by many blogs.
